We started 2019 laying emphasis on how to live a healthy lifestyle by eating the right things at the right time 😛
I wonder if we adhered to all those plenty do’s and don’t’s.
For me, eating healthy has been imbibed into my daily regimen so it’s not really a big deal for me 😛 so try to be like me. I take lots of water, fruits and vegetables which help my skin glow (you need to see my skin 😆 ) then keep my body fit and sexy 🙄
Maintaining a healthy diet and lifestyle isn’t hard trust me. all you need to do is to be very intentional about what your goals are , have them in your thoughts and work towards implementing them. your first simple strategy should be eating plenty fruits and vegetables by making smoothies. well I decided to make myself a very colourful smoothie.
What is smoothie?
According to Wikipedia, a smoothie is a thick and creamy beverage made from pureed raw fruit, vegetables and sometimes diary products using a blender. smoothies can also be made using water, crushed ice, fruit juice, sweeteners, whey powder, plant milk, nuts, nuts butter, seeds, tea, chocolate, herbal supplements or nutritional supplements. this goes to show that you can add absolutely whatever you deem fit to your smoothie depending on what goal you want to achieve. however, I advise you don’t go overboard adding things that we term “unhealthy” if you’re making smoothies to achieve a healthy diet.
As you all know I don’t stress myself much over these things, I use the fruits and vegetables around me at the moment to create my own unique recipes which usually turn out very sumptuous so on this fateful day, armed with my rechargeable blender (get one it comes handy) which I currently sell.
I peeped into my kitchen & saw pawpaw, mangoes ,apples and ginger lying carelessly on the shelf 😕 then I quickly started thinking of the best combinations to make a quick smoothie. I creatively came up with two wonderful options 🙂 then I set to work. washed the fruits and ginger . had them cut into smaller pieces and the smoothie making process begins
By this time, I was already feeling so good and waiting for the fruits to blend properly so that I can have them refrigerated for consumption later.
My first smoothie creation was a mix of mango, pawpaw, ginger and water. I loved the unique taste the ginger gave to this mixture plus the smoothie turned out very colourful. try it , you will love it!
The second creation consist of pawpaw, apple, ginger and water. this mixture also turned out very colourful and delicious…guys give it to me, am definitely good at what I do 😛
You see how I effortlessly came up with two bespoke smoothie recipes without much ado. I think you should do same too because we’re all in this together right? I like exploring my creativity even in the most minimal things you could ever think of. Some other person may have blended all the fruits and ginger to get just one creation but NO I like experimenting and fortunately for me, they always turn out so well.
You won’t believe all the super packed healthy benefits I gained from consuming these fruits. the health benefits of pawpaw, mango, apple and ginger will blow your mind. they include weight loss, skin care, better heart health, better digestion, relief from toothache, regulated menstruation, stronger immunity, cancer fighting, regulate diabetes, detoxing benefits etc.
